Lake Starnberg is well-known for two things: its centuries-old fishing tradition and the many celebrities who mix and mingle at the lake. On this tour you will learn about the fishing of today as well as which celebrities have visitied Lake Starnberg.

We will start in Starnberg at the north of the lake and head towards Berg. In Berg, a votive chapel and a wooden cross are the memorials of the death of King Ludwig II, which was surrounded by a scandal. In addition, the famous German writer Oskar Maria Graf lived in the town.

The tour terminates in Tutzing’s lake-side beergarden with some tasty Bavarian beer and fish grilled on a stick (Steckerlfisch). And who knows – maybe we will see a celebrity at the next table.

We had a group event and were looking for a fun but interesting activity to do for team building. Manfred was prompt and efficient in replying to emails to get this quickly organised and everyone in the team had nothing but praise for what was an enjoyable two hours exploring Munich.

Great tour! We had a group take part in the Munich's Hotspots bike tour in June. Thoroughly enjoyed the route and the guides were very knowledgeable! Highly recommend. Thank you!
